I’ve been writing a lot, and not on here so I think it’s time for an update. This is going to be a long one. There’s good news on the horizon. I’m happy to announce that Startling Stories finally has a publishing date which is set for early next year and I’m thrilled to be a part of this project. For those that are not aware of the rich history of this publication, it’s heritage dates all the way back to 1939, published by Ned Pines’ Standard Magazines. The original Startling Stories saw tales from names including Arthur C. Clarke’s The City and the Stars and Issac Asimov’s The Pebble in the Sky.
The font for the relaunch is taking on the original Art Deco stylings of Earle K. Bergey.

The re-launch features exciting new cover art by Allen Koszowski in the same Art Deco renderings, but with a modern sci-fi twist.

My tale Hazthrog’s Contempt will appear in this historic relaunch along side a cast of writers including Cynthia Ward, Adrian Cole, Scott Emerson, Mike Chinn, Nicole Givens Kurtz, and more. Startling Stories is under the dutiful editorship of Douglas Draa.
Hazthrog’s Conempt was one of the first prose pieces I had penned and it holds a special place in my heart, knowing that it’s going to find a home here.
I have more updates coming, but I decided to post them in smaller increments as opposed to one large smattering of words.
More details and updates coming soon.
