Thank you so much to Ryan Smith for the fantastic audio work on my prose poem Crimson Faces. This piece originally appeared in issue #135 of Space and Time Magazine and was reprinted in the 2020 Rhysling Anthology after being nominated.
The full contents for Weirdbook #43 is finally here, featuring my short tale of mathematical mania A Sum Total. This features a lineup of fantastic writers, poets, and storytellers. I want to thank Doug Draa for his tireless effort and passion to bring this issue to print.
The image is merely a proof of what the actual cover art will look like and the names are not final, but nonetheless, it’s still really cool…

I’m writing this post, still joyously dumbfounded, that my short story naigoth.carcosa.exe will be appearing alongside some of the brightest and most talented voices in weird fiction today. And not only that, coming together to honor one the blackest stars in the cosmic mirth above. I never knew Joe, but I’ve come to understand the profound influence he had on our genre.
I’ve never been so happy to see so many familiar faces, many who are friends, packed together in a single volume (possibly two volume) work.
