Spectral Realms No. 14 is here! I’m pleased to announce the latest issue of Spectral Realms is available for your consumption. I’ll have three prose poems in this installment. Check out the link here or see the sidebar taking you directly to Hippocampus Press’ site to purchase this and back issues of Spectral Realms. My prose poems have been featured in four other issues (No. 7, No. 11, No. 12, No. 13).

It’s always wonderful to see the newest issue of Spectral Realms, seeing so many names that I’ve come to know and respect. Dan Sauer has done excellent work on the cover as expected and I’m looking forward to reading work the from friends and colleagues Scott Couturier, Christina Sng, K.A. Opperman, Manuel Arenas, Lori R. Lopez, Ashley Dioses, and so many others.

I’ll have three prose poems in this issue:

“Nightmares of Ink, Dreams in Blood.”

“Galactic Cellars, Unhinged.”

“The Wicker King’s Palace.”

A few months ago, I wrote a snarky and cynical short story with Vonnegut-style prose and I wasn’t entirely sure where this story would land. The story, titled The Future, was written as a social commentary on the state of the world today, told through the lense of a marginalized narrator living in a strange, dystopian society in an unspecified time in the distant future.

I’m happy to say that The Future has found a home at Schlock! Webzine from Horrified Press! It will appear in the June 2020 issue of Schlock so stay tuned for more updates.
