It is that time of year. And I’m very honored and humbled to be nominated for the 2021 Rhysling awards alongside some of the brightest names in speculative poetry!

I have two poems nominated this year:

“The Mollusk God” (Space and Time Magazine # 139) for Best Short Poem

“Cellars, Caskets, and Closets” (Baffling Magazine # 1) for Best Long Poem.

Voting begins on 1 April 2021 and closes 15 June 2021. Only current members may vote. To join, please go to sfpoetry.com.

Have you purchased your pass to OmniPark? If not, well, you should. This anthology, available now from House Blackwood features a chilling lineup of tales about the theme park that never was. I’m also happy to report that my story “The Fisherman’s Last Call” appears in this volume.

This story is one of the first making mention of the Cyber God, Gulaplast. I greatly enjoyed crafting this tale and hope everyone snags a copy while they are available.

I’m thrilled to announce and share with you all, the cover for my debut prose poetry collection, OBLIVION IN FLUX:A Collection of Cyber Prose. Dan Sauer has done an absolutely stellar job at creating a cover that illustrates the terror and mystery of the Cyber Gods. I’m overjoyed and want to thank Joe Mynhardt from Crystal Lake Publishing and Linda Addison for all of their continued support.

Dan’s cover evokes the surrealistic and abstract artwork of the late great Richard M. Powers whose covers hypnotized readers for decades.

Stay tuned as more details are to come! The collection is slated to be released this August.
