The cover for the next issue of the legendary Weird Tales Magazine is here, and what a cover it is! The beautiful design from artist Bob Eggleton has captured the darkness and fantasy of the sword and sorcery genre.

My prose poem “The Gates of Katharion” will appear in this issue alongside some of the finest names in horror today.

More to come on the release date but check back here and on the Weird Tales site for more information.

It’s been an exciting week to say the least. News that I had to keep under wraps was announced a few days ago that a collaborative poetry book written with my very good friend, Angela Yuriko Smith, titled Möbius Lyrics will be published by award-winning specialty press Independent Legions. Möbius Lyrics is a book of call and response poetry and I can’t wait for everyone to read it. I had such a fun time writing this with Angela.

Please check out her work and all the amazing things she’s up to! She also just finished a novel… you can find her website here.

This announcement comes on the heels of the one-year anniversary of my debut prose poetry collection, Oblivion in Flux: A Collection of Cyber Prose.

Oblivion was my first book ever published and while it feels more like a century some days than a year, I’m grateful for so much in such a short period of time. I want to thank Joe from Crystal Lake Publishing who took a chance on my prose poetry and working with him to craft this book as well as being able to work with my friend and colleague Dan Sauer who produced some of the most beautiful covert art I’ve ever seen.

Dan has seen my work change through his involvement with Hippocampus Press and Spectral Realms, so having him work on the cover for this book meant the world to me. Also, Dan will be doing the cover art for my poetry chapbook anOther Mythology coming in 2023 from Interstellar Flight Press.

If you need a cover artist for your next book or anthology give him a call, or if you’re interested in some fine weird fiction, his imprint Jackanapes Press has got you covered!

I talk a lot about the great, the fabulous, the one, the only purpled haired Linda Addison as my mentor (and now dear friend) and I can’t say enough about the good she’s done to make me a better person. When I read the introduction she penned for Oblivion I was moved to tears (and still it moves me).

To have the opportunity to build my first book with people who’ve supported me leaves me speechless and now, I have the same opportunity with both anOther Mythology and Bleeding Rainbows and Other Broken Spectrums coming in 2023 from Hex Publishers.

To celebrate Oblivion’s one year anniversary I’ve decided to donate all proceeds of royalties until August 21st to the Trevor Project.
